I fully expect this page to be listed/linked at www.tvtropes.org. The termination of evil henchmen/hive creatures when the proverbial head has been cut off? This totally fits that bill. Anybody who hasn't seen the Addams Family musical should do so (currently playing at the Ordway in St. Paul, you know). The songs aren't all that catchy (and I was disappointed that there was no rendition of "they're creepy and they're cooky"), but the actors have some great comedic timing and man can Wednesday belt it out.
